Buddleia House is so much more than your typical care home. Endeavouring to cater to all the senses that just can’t be understood until you walk through the doors of our home. We’ve also just been awarded our Band 5 Quality Score from Nottinghamshire County Council.
Residents can enjoy and engage in daily living, whatever their ability or condition. Our community has an indoor garden area, a pub, library area, a pantry, sweet shop, creative art and music areas, and lots of other engaging facilities both indoors and outdoors from raised garden beds to a beer garden. It’s a care home like no other in Hucknall. It’s Residential Care the way it should be.

We reluctantly moved Mum into Buddleia in Feb 23. The staff were fantastic in helping her make the transition and we were amazed how well she settled in. Residents’ welfare is the primary concern at Buddleia and the environment is friendly and welcoming. A great place for Alzheimer’s sufferers who can no longer be looked after at home.

All the staff at Buddleia House are very caring of Dad. Keep me well informed. When I go to visit, I am always welcome and I can see that they are looking after Dad in a kind and caring way. We have good communication between us. Whenever I visit at whatever time of day or day of the week, there seems to be enough staff present to look after the residents properly. Their care of Dad is a Godsend.

Was really nervous about Mum going into a home, but the staff at Buddleia are amazing. They are so kind and helpful, going above and beyond. They all deserve medals. The actual place is pristine and modern but with a homely feel and the food always looks delicious and there are always activities going on. I couldn’t wish for a better place for my mum.

All care staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful no matter what time I visit my mum. They take exceptional care and pride in all aspects of their work. (The facilities are always spotless.) All staff go the extra mile for residents from activities to care, dietary requirements and their general well-being. The home is a home from home.

I have visited Buddleia House Care Home on numerous occasions, but more recently for their ‘Virtual Cruise’ events, which have been absolutely amazing.
From the moment you walk through the door the welcome atmosphere is second to none. It is clear the residents are extremely well cared for and supported, living their lives to the fullest.
The staff team are kind, caring, and experienced in their jobs, treating the residents with dignity and respect, almost like a member of their own family.
The home manager is pivotal to the success of Buddleia House. She is exceptional. A very dedicated and highly skilled manager, putting her heart and soul into all matters concerning the home.
