Friendly Homecare
At Friendly Homecare, we support individuals who are living with a range of conditions including arthritis, dementia, diabetes, impaired vision and other senses, poor mobility & Parkinson’s disease.
We always work with the individual to develop a plan of care that takes account of their privacy, dignity, personal needs and choice.
This enables us to support the individual in maintaining their independence for as long as possible or to regain it where possible.
To focus on service users. We aim to provide personal care and support in ways which have positive outcomes for service users and promote their active participation.
To ensure that we are fit for our purpose. We examine our operations constantly to ensure that we are successfully achieving our stated aims and purposes. We welcome feedback from our service users and their friends and relatives.
To work for the comprehensive welfare of our service users. We aim to provide for each service user a package of care that contributes to his or her overall personal and healthcare needs and preferences. We will co-operate with other services and professionals to help to maximise each service user’s independence and to ensure as fully as possible the services user’s maximum participation in the community.
To meet assessed needs. Before we provide services, we ensure that a potential service user’s needs and preferences are thoroughly assessed. We aim to ensure that the care the service provides meets the assessed needs of each service user, that needs are re-assessed as frequently as necessary, and that the care and support provided have the flexibility to respond to changing needs or requirements.
To provide quality services. We are whole-heartedly committed to providing top quality services and to continuous improvement in the level of the care we offer.
To employ a quality workforce. We ensure that persons employed by Friendly Homecare have sector experience and relevant training as well as the willingness to undergo further training as required. Regular feedback would be sought to ensure that our workforce are delivering quality care in line with our high standards and expectations as well as supported to gain knowledge of best practise.

Friendly Homecare is an excellent provider of top-quality care. We found them patient, compassionate and very understanding of our mother’s needs and the tricky situation in that she didn’t feel she needed help, whilst we knew she did! The manager was both professional and helpful and very experienced in the care field. He expertly guided us through everything we needed to think about and we felt in safe hands. He totally understood our and our mother’s needs and provided us with a lovely, experienced carer who was able to befriend and help our mother. We are most grateful and would have no hesitation in recommending them to other families.

We have used Friendly Homecare for a number of years and we have always been very happy with the service provided.
My elderly mother was at home with us until the end and we were able to do this as Friendly Homecare provided us with night cover. They sat with my mother all night to ensure that she was comfortable.
The carers were kind and compassionate and they called me as I live locally if they had any concerns. The carer called me the night my 97-year-old mother passed away and I was able to be with her, holding her hand which meant so much to us.
We have used a number of home care providers in the past and Friendly Homecare is by far the best.
I cannot recommend the whole team at Friendly Homecare enough.

The carer that supports my brother has many qualities that make him exceptional at his job.
He makes my brother feel respected, valued and safe. He is always willing to go the extra mile to support my brother.
We, as a family, feel reassured that our brother is in good hands. The carer has a great understanding of my brother’s needs and has taken his time to build a working relationship but also a long term friendship.
I am very honoured and grateful that my brother’s carer is part of his life, as my brother would be lost without him.

The team at Friendly Homecare has provided impeccable care to my 89-year-old father for several years and is an invaluable lifeline of support to my mother in meeting his complex care needs, including dementia and Parkinsonism. Both managers and carers are indeed friendly, considerate, calm, courteous and trustworthy. Their ability to respond to client’s needs, often at short notice, with empathy and efficiency does them credit and we are so grateful to them all for their kindness over the years.

The manager has been very professional throughout my dealings with him in relation to the care of my 96-year-old Godfather. He’s very caring but most of all he’s patient and understanding which makes him ideally suited to this type of work. Therefore it is possible to negotiate and agree on a care package that is needed for the particular person which makes things easy, personal and consequently adaptable for whoever is the subject matter of the care.
I would not hesitate to ask him and his team to look after any of my loved ones.
