Hygea Homecare
Hygea Homecare is a home care company established in January 2021 by Joanne Godsall, a healthcare professional with over 20 years of experience.
Joanne identified shortcomings in the quality of care services provided by various home care providers and decided to create a better alternative. She enlisted the support of her husband, Adam Godsall, and together, they built Hygea Homecare from scratch.
In November 2021, Hygea Homecare achieved its CQC registration, allowing it to deliver regulated care services in its local community. This marked the beginning of their journey to provide exceptional care.
Hygea Homecare has a highly trained care workforce and strong partnerships with local authorities to ensure its clients’ highest quality of care.
Joanne and Adam are committed to making a difference in people’s lives. Their experience and passion have positioned them as industry leaders in delivering personalised and compassionate services.

It started with a personal chat about my dad and his needs it was a open and easy meeting after we had another meeting with my dad there and got to know his needs and wants. I got in touch after I was given a different care team when my dad first left hospital that did not work well with my dad and left him alone with his pills they helped me secure his pills away and now give him his pills as and when he needs them. Along with his medication care they offer him food and company. I can not thank them enough for all the help they give my dad and myself.

I would recommend Hygea Homecare, they are very professional and friendly, all the carers have been very supportive towards my in-laws treating them with respect and maintaining their dignity at all times. My Mother-In-Law has Dementia and doesn’t hold a conversation but they always talk to her and get her singing which helps to get her motivated.

The care provided by Hygea is of exceptional quality – more than outstanding. Our mother’s needs and wishes have all been lovingly met with considerable empathy, compassion and patience. The carers are very experienced and the support and care provided by Hygea has been very comprehensive, including liaison with Mum’s GP surgery and other practitioners, and supporting the acquisition of relevant equipment. Care visits have always been on time and detailed records of each care visit are shared with family. Hygea have been very proactive in identifying anything extra that would benefit our mother and we have been kept fully informed of our mother’s condition and any concerns. We are so grateful to the company’s managers and all the lovely carers for the truly heartfelt care that has been provided for our mother.
