Premier Community
Founded by former nurse Gill Isterling in 1996, Premier Community was born out of a desire to provide quality home care services to adults in the local community.
From our humble beginnings, delivering cleaning and home care services, the business grew dramatically as the service demand increased.
By early 2006, we employed over 100 carers and won multiple council and NHS contracts - solidifying our reputation as a trusted home care provider.
Over 27 years after our inception, we have become a cherished addition to many families across the East Midlands, delivering over 14,000 domiciliary care visits per week and employing over 450 active carers.
To further complement our home care services, we also own several mobility stores conveniently located in key locations across Nottinghamshire, North Derbyshire and South Derbyshire.
From here, our service users can receive advice on our complete range of home care services, as well as access a wide range of mobility aids designed to make living at home easier.
As we look to the future, the company remains in safe hands under the watchful eye of Gill's five sons: Ben, Dan, Joe, Tim and Aiden, who are all involved in different aspects of the business.

My mum has been a Premier Community service user for the last four years and in this time we have seen the company go from strength to strength.
What has prompted me to write a review after all this time was a recent event that put Mum’s carers to the test and they really did come up trumps! Mum got a serious chest infection and ended up being admitted to hospital. Both before and after her stay in hospital Mum’s carers did an outstanding job going above and beyond expectations. Knowing she was in such capable and trustworthy hands was so reassuring. I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to the team!

I have written a review for July, but they have been looking after my dad for much longer.
All of the carers that help him out, as well as all of the staff that work in the office, are absolutely amazing.
I live 300 miles away from my dad, who lives by himself and requires visits three times a day. It gives me so much comfort to know that he is being looked after and looked out for by people who genuinely care about him, they have become like an extended family.
My dad absolutely loves them all and has a really close bond with them.
One example of the extra mile they go is when Dad had to go into hospital recently. It was a rescheduled operation that he had forgotten to tell me the date of. A carer messaged me to tell me when he was going in, the ward he would be on and the contact number, not something she had to do but she did it anyway.
I could not recommend these guys enough, they have been a massive comfort to my dad and myself.
