Situated in the pretty village of Calverton, just outside Nottingham, Springwater Lodge is a small, purpose-built home with 41 beds, offering residential, nursing and dementia care.
Living with us
This lovely home offers a choice of three sitting rooms and three dining areas, all with views of the garden. In addition, there is a sunny conservatory, popular memory room, and a room to pursue hobbies and interests. The landscaped garden is the ideal place to relax and socialise with friends and relatives. All our bright and comfortable bedrooms and living areas are easily accessible by wheelchair.
The home’s caring team has created a warm family atmosphere, encouraging everyone to eat, celebrate and plan special occasions together. Residents are invited to decorate their rooms with small items of their own furniture and treasured belongings so that it feels just like home. Daily life is thoughtfully designed to support Residents’ mind, body and soul.

Springwater Lodge’s Home Manager will make sure that all Residents receive the kindest possible care. Our extensively trained team will deliver all the nursing and specialist care and support services that your loved one requires. Personalised care plans consider not only medical, personal and dietary needs, but also the individual’s likes and dislikes, religious preferences, and any suggestions from family members that might make their stay with us that little bit more enjoyable.

What a wonderful and caring place. From our first visit to Springwater Lodge to meet the manager to the morning my mum passed away, the staff were truly wonderful. My mum was only here for 36 hours following a 4-week stay in the hospital having had a major stroke at age 98 years. The staff and the manager looked after both my mum and our family (elderly husband and three adult children) with such care, compassion and respect.
My mum’s passing was made so much gentler with the kind and supportive staff and the manager. Nothing was too much trouble.
Once we had decided we wanted Mum to be moved to Springwater Lodge for palliative care, the manager acted very quickly and efficiently to help with the transfer. As a family, we are so pleased that Mum was able to have her final 36 hours in such a warm and homely environment.

All the staff, from the carers, the nurses, the kitchen staff and the manager are all very helpful and kind and listen to what you have to say. The care for my mother is excellent. Mum settled straight away and is happy.

This was the first time we had any dealings with a care home. After looking at several, we decided this looked the best for our father. After he had settled in, visiting was lovely. The staff are just fantastic, so lovely, they go above and beyond. I can’t recommend them highly enough. I don’t worry about him being there at all; he loves it too, really getting involved with the entertainment they put on for all of the elderly there. Just wonderful.

What a fantastic care home with exceptional staff – nothing was ever too much trouble for any of them, and their care and genuine compassion were outstanding to not just my uncle but my auntie as well.
