Female Carer Required

Job Description

We are looking for a female carer to support our mum, who has Alzheimer’s and lives at home. Despite her advancing dementia, mum has a happy disposition, a good sense of humour, and is sociable once you get to know her. She remains relatively independent and enjoys activities like light exercise in the garden. Ideally, applicants should have experience in one-to-one care, preferably with a background in Alzheimer’s care. The role includes companionship, cooking meals, and ensuring mum’s safety at all times. We have a wonderful team of three carers providing round-the-clock care, and this position will cover weekend gaps, as well as providing cover for annual leave and sickness. There will also be the opportunity to do sleepovers, eventually taking over one night per week with flexibility.
