Personal Assistant/ Carer Required

Job Description

We are seeking a Personal Assistant/Carer for a young 60-year-old female in Christchurch. The role offers an hourly rate of £13.50 and requires either 39 or 48 hours per week on a permanent basis, starting 26th August 2025. Duties include personal grooming care, administration, housekeeping, shopping, cooking, transportation to medical appointments, companionship, and any other relevant tasks. The ideal candidate should be respectful, reliable, and able to follow instructions while also working independently as part of a small team providing 24-hour care. Patience, a bright and cheerful disposition, and the ability to be creative in supporting with craft ideas are essential. Previous experience is preferred, but not required, as full training will be provided. A clean driver’s licence and the right to work in the UK are essential, and applicants must be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check. Successful candidates will be entitled to holiday pay and a formal employment contract.
