Two Personal Care Assistants Required (Referral)

Job Description

We are seeking 2 Personal Care Assistants (PAs) to support a 27-year-old man living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) in KT4 (South London). The role requires 51 hours per week at £13.85 per hour, with hours split between 2 PAs, working up to 35 hours for one PA and 16 hours for the other. The duties include assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, toileting, hoist transfers), domestic tasks, physiotherapy, and support for social activities. Driving a WAV (wheelchair accessible vehicle) is essential, and a clean UK driving licence is required. Flexible working patterns are available, with support needed between 7 am and 8 pm, including Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons/evenings. Previous experience in manual handling is necessary, but full training will be provided.
